Sales of energy storage will grow

According to experts from the Polish Energy Storage Association, the energy storage market will develop in the same way as the photovoltaics sector has so far. Its growth will be stimulated by, among others: government subsidy programs and a new method of energy settlement, which replaced net-metering. However, a key role in the popularization of energy storage may be played by preferential prosumer support systems, the impact of which on the development of the market is already visible. According to the Polish Chamber of Energy Storage, in 2022 there were approximately 7 operations in Poland. home electricity storage devices with a total power of 27,5 MW and a capacity of 55 MWh.
