5 questions for… beelN!

Oct 27, 2022

The main activity of beelN SA is the import and sale of photovoltaic panels, heat pumps and other renewable energy components. The main source of the Issuer's profit is the margin it charges on the goods it sells. The company sells in two ways: trade to small recipients, where the buyers are individual customers (natural persons, retail model) and wholesale.

According to the company in the stock exchange announcement, the revenues of beelN in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to approximately PLN 12 million compared to PLN 4,9 million in the first quarter of 2021, which is an increase of approximately 145%. We invited the President of beelN, Mr. Michał Sochacki to answer a few questions about the current situation in the Company.

1. How did the NewConnect debut affect the company's operations?

It was an important event for us, a declaration of maintaining high standards of transparency and the crowning achievement of strategic activities carried out with the long-term development of the company in mind. The debut on the NewConnect market has increased our recognition and credibility in the eyes of Polish and foreign business partners. From the perspective of the last six months, we can see that choosing the development strategy presented during the debut was the right choice, which is confirmed by the record increases in beelN's revenues, which we recorded in 2022.

2. The activity of beelN SA is focused on the CZE industry, and what, in your opinion, are the main competitive advantages of the Company?

What distinguishes us is agility, which allows us to flexibly adjust the directions of development to the dynamically changing market situation. The company's competitive advantage is also constituted by innovative technologies in the field of renewable energy, which we offer to customers at competitive prices.
I mean, among others own line of remote controlled heat pumps SPRSUN SELECT and photovoltaic panels LEAPTON and DAH Solar Full Screen with increased efficiency confirmed by the TUV certificate
BeelN's strengths are also business diversification and international operations, the scale of which is significantly increasing. All these advantages are additionally strengthened by the competent and committed young beelN team, which I have the pleasure and honor to lead.

3. What are the challenges and threats to the development of the Company in the next 12 months?

Despite the uncertain geopolitical situation, beelN records very good financial results and is developing dynamically. We owe it to the consistent implementation of our strategy, in which we also try to take into account the potential risks associated with the crisis, war in Ukraine, pandemic and the broadly understood business environment. One of the ways to maintain the long-term development of the company is to diversify the business and use the potential of the increased interest in acquiring renewable energy outside Poland. With this in mind, we strengthen our position on several foreign markets and maintain an upward trend in revenues from international expansion, which is to ensure business stability in the long term.

4. What the Company is currently working on

We are currently focusing on the optimization of processes related to sales support, the development of international sales channels and the implementation of projects related to the development of PV farms. implementation and remote support, which distinguish beelN on the market. We are also working intensively on after-sales support, which is particularly important in the case of heat pumps. We believe that the sale of a pump is the beginning of a distributor-buyer relationship, not the end of it, as the process is often perceived by competitors.

5. What are the company's development goals for the coming years?

We are heading in clearly defined directions declared in the beelN development strategy. Our goal is to build a modern organization with an established market position, a reliable importer and distributor of effective RES solutions on the European market. At the same time, we are building a portfolio of photovoltaic farms, which in the long term are to guarantee us a constant, passive income. Ultimately, we would like to become a dividend company in which the dividend would be closely related to the profits from the sale of energy from PV farms.
